Las Sirenas Hotel is famous for hosting all the Hollywood stars who rolled into town when Spain was a filming location for blockbusters and has an autograph book which is a gem in itself, with hundreds of autographs from artists like Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Jean Fontaine, Alec Guinness, Sophia Loren and many more. The rear of the hotel, where most of its rooms are, have wonderful views of the Sierra de Guadarrama. On the downside, the hotel needs a bit of a renovation, as the floor creaks and the furniture is from the 50s.
We found this accommodation at the last minute; walking near the aqueduct, we decided to stop by and ask if they had any vacancies. A charming place, all very new, casual but relaxing. It has just nine rooms spread across three floors (no lift). They had wifi, but our room on the second floor didn't have much signal. A good, economical choice for visiting Segovia.
In the heart of Segovia lies this cozy 3 star hotel - Museum. Set in a 15th century building that's been impressively restored, Honorable Mention Art and Heritage Awards 2006. Within its walls you can enjoy spectacular 15th century Mudejar coffered ceilings, Roman remains and beautiful views of the Sierra de Guadarrama. Facilities: free internet access, bar, restaurant and conference and meeting rooms (one of them in the Aljibe which is the largest city).
Through booking.com, we got the family room (# 201) for only 82 €. The room had 2 double beds and a single bed. It slept 2 adults and 3 children (5 to 7 years). The room was very spacious, bright and overlooking the inner terrace. The bathroom was very nice and the whole room was tastefully decorated. An excellent deal and the perfect location, just meters from the aqueduct. I would visit again.
We enjoyed a very romantic anniversary at Los Arcos and really enjoyed the tremendous views and excellent service. We had a wonderful dinner at La Cocina de Segovia, with great wine and, of course, my fantastic boyfriend! I recommend the cod in the restaurant, but the pork is the star of the show and a good example of the local cuisine. I would love to return and get to know the city a bit better.
This hotel is located in a XVI century house that retains the charm of yesteryear, combined with all the modern amenities and luxuries needed for an unforgettable stay. Each room has everything you need for a perfect evening. There is a cafeteria and meeting rooms that are available for events and conferences.
Very good location as it is only 100 meters from the aqueduct. Some of the rooms even have a direct view of the aqueduct itself. The parking costs 9 € for the day, 5 minutes walk away. Very good value for money
I stayed with my partner at this hotel. The staff were very friendly. Good facilities, the hotel is well maintained. It's in Plaza Mayor, I recommend a room with a view. The hotel is perfect for visiting Segovia as you can walk to all the sights in less than 5 minutes. Hotel that I'll recommend to my friends!
We spent a couple of nights in this strange hotel. It's fairly well-located, less than a five minutes' walk to both the cathedral and the Alcazar. The building is quite old. Our bed wasn't very large and it sagged in the middle. The water was murky, and the bathroom wasn't clean enough to wash comfortably. It's an old hotel, so you can hear the people in the next room every time they take a shower or flush the toilet. Should have one less star and a lower price.
This is a well-located, economical hotel with a decent breakfast buffet. Except for the inevitable grumpy waiter, the staff are friendly and warm, and the restaurant food is good and plentiful. The rooms are spacious although they aren't cleaned to a high standard, especially the bathroom. Some rooms have air conditioning units right on the windows so they can be a bit noisy in summer. Apparently they have deals with Foursquare. If you are looking for a hotel for the night in Segovia this is more than acceptable. For its two stars: 7/10.
This is a beautiful guesthouse in the center of Segovia, next to the Plaza Mayor. The hotel is stylishly decorated and very comfortable, with TV and air conditioning in rooms. When you arrive, the reception staff will give you the keys so that you can come in and out of the hotel whenever you please. The prices are good. Getting to the hotel by car is a complicated task since most of the downtown area is pedestrianized. It's better to leave the car in the Ezequiel Gonzalez car park and walk to the hotel. In short, highly recommended accommodation.
