Theotokopoulou Square

Thira is really a fascinating place, both for its panoramic position, and the beauty of its streets. The main square of the city is Theotokopoulou Square, where you can find a series of alleys that criss-cross the city, offering amazing views. The main road through Thira is the March 25 street, which is entirely pedestrianised, with souvenir shops, jewelers, and countless restaurants offering tasty seafood. In the evening it's the island's most famous promenade, as it fills up with tourists. The road ends near the upper station of the cable car.
