8 Villages Route

This magnificent trail crosses the beautiful Gallinera valley from the west to the east along old paths used by habitants of the valley. You’ll see old washboards, churches, and much more inside the towns. You’ll cross orange and cherry fields, and the Valencian garden, one of the most pleasant in all of Spain, known for its great climate and fertile soil.

You can take all the time you want because there are places to stay in each of the eight towns, as well as places to eat. You’ll always be able to find drinkable and fresh water from the Sierra mountains, and from the Gallinera river, which you’ll cross several times.
