Former mill on the cliff of a beach

Great

This former mill was constructed between the years 1726 and 1727, and is on the cliffs of the Galea to overcome a drought and water supplied temporarily by the wind , and stopped functioning in the year 1787. This mill has nothing to do with the typical mills of La Mancha, unlike the cylindrical de la Mancha,it is frustoconical, made of stone masonry. The first information on the mill property refers to March 28, 1825 and was its owner a rich merchant, Irish by birth, who lived in the village of Bilbao, called Edmund Shee. 60 years after it was sold by his descendants to the City Council August 13, 1955.
