AKCHO was incorporated in 1977 as a forum available for all who work in the world of heritage conservation. The office was created in 1978, with a focus on the study and rehabilitation of many architectural treasures of the area. Volunteers, conservation professionals, developers and communities work together to keep the architectural identity of the place.
