1 review of El-Alfy Street

City center

We are in the heart of the city center, the historic district of Cairo. The buildings date back from the 20s and 30s of last century, although it has been rather neglected. The street of Al Alfy retains at least one major commercial dynamism, like many pedestrian streets. The cars just happen to be at the end, in the plaza of the same name. In the tourist shops you can find everything, women's clothing, shoes, souvenirs, books, ice cream. Families stroll through during the night until very late in this area, so you can see that it is quite safe. If you lift your eyes a little higher than the shops, you will see the ancient splendor of the buildings, now black with dust and pollution.
