Alexis Greek & Portuguese Restaurant

A one-stop restaurant for Greek & Portuguese food

A Greek and Portuguese restaurant? That’s right! This fancy eatery has been in existence for more than 40 years and is owned by a Greek man and his Portuguese wife. The majority of the menu is Greek food, but there are Portuguese options as well. During my first visit I tried the braised rabbit and rack of lamb and was pretty satisfied! Each entree was served with steamed vegetables and a choice of potatoes or rice. The portions were filling and the meats were flavorful. There is also bread and butter that comes with the meal that the server will continually refill. The menu is diverse and includes vegetarian options, seafood, desserts, a selection of wines and more. The best part of this experience is the service, as the server was very attentive, always checking to see if my boyfriend and I were doing okay. He even lit us a candle!

I also have to note that the ambiance here is really relaxing – not the place to go if you want a TV or pumped up music playing in the background. You can really focus on the food and ve you’re with. The restaurant also appears to not have been renovated in some time, which some may simply see as an old eatery, but this seeming lack of updating the appearance adds to the calming atmosphere.
