The perfect restaurant

To go to Toledo is quite a gastronomical experience. In my case, it was one of the best gastronomical experiences I have ever had. Like that.

They recommended this place located in the old part of the city. For starters, the style is really nice since you feel like you are inside a cave. It has low tables with stools in the lower part of the restaurant. Upstairs they have another space, but we preferred to be in the tavern.

The menu had many options, but we chose to eat tapas: creamy boletus croquettes, duck with mango and chili sauce rolls, fried eggplant with honey sauce. I have to say that the first two tapas were truly delicious. The boletus croquettes were splendid; I want to go back to Toledo to eat them again. As a dessert we had the chocolate coulant with wild berries and cheesecake with cookies; both were perfect.

We were two persons and the portions were very satisfying, I also want to say that the waiter was very nice, he recommended us many things and he was very kind and attentive, I loved the service.

It was 15 € each, very well prices. Don’t leave Toledo without eating in this place, really!

A great menu

We were searching in minube for restaurants in Toledo, and we finally decided to go to this one. The place is really nice, a combination of ancient and modern styles. On weekdays they have a menu for 17,95 €. It is quite a select place, and since we liked the menu we ordered it. Yum!

First they brought us an appetizer of cured cheese rolls with olive oil, then we had the salad with caramelized goat cheese, Iberian ham and raspberry vinaigrette (it also had walnuts), it was a very generous serving. As a main dish we had deer filet with sautéed mushrooms and as a dessert the chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious! We ordered coffee and they brought us five types of sugar. Really amazing place.

A must!

It was an amazing birthday celebration, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of restaurant. It is located in Toledo’s downtown; you will get to the restaurant walking along charming streets. Even though the restaurant doesn’t say much from the outside (compared to other architectural beauties of the area), in the inside you will discover a building with wood and stone structure and face brick walls, typical of ancient buildings. You will be surprised by the modernity of the installations, the lighting, closures, etc.

The food is exquisite. The menu is not very big but it will satisfy your palate, combined with its great wine selection. You will be amazed with the combination of flavors and with the great service (here I tried the first “pre-dessert” in my whole life). The service is very professional and kind.

Enjoy the atmosphere, the music will help you. Talk, fall in love, and make important decisions…this restaurant will be in your memory for a long time.

It must be said that you will pay for appetizers, main dish, wine and dessert about 40 € per person, even though you can choose a less expensive option. But for us it was worth it.

The restaurant Alfileritos 24 has been a great experience, and a success in my first visit to Toledo. I planned my route minube.com Toledo. Thanks to all the experiences on this website, I discovered Alfileritos 24 and put it in one of my plans. After browsing through Toledo on a Friday night, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant. Soon as you enter the room, we were greeted with exquisite sympathy and kindness by one of the waiters, which gave us something special. Its architecture, decoration and lighting, makes you feel really in a warm and intimate, as described in recent experiences in this corner. We decided to dine on tapas, so we were on the ground floor. The part of the tavern, with brick walls, vaulted ceiling, coffee tables and lamps dim light, made you feel a warmth and a special romance in the environment. After reviewing the letter and listen to recommendations by the waiter, we are guided by him and we went for a pica-pica (creamy boletus croquettes, Kumato with mozzarella and basil vinaigrette, Alfileritos Patatas bravas and grilled with Deer mushroom sauce) and a Toast (one of Iberian ham and other venison with apple and balsamic). All seasoned with a good red wine in the area. Coulant chocolate dessert without words .. and that I usually do coulant home at home, but it was really the only restaurant for which I have been passed, 10. Everything we ate was excellent, except for the patatas bravas, which were not anything special. On my next visit to Toledo will again be a must, and the restaurant will be 100% recommend to everyone visiting the city.

El restaurante Alfileritos 24 ha sido una excelente experiencia, y todo un acierto en mi primera visita a Toledo.

Planifiqué mi ruta por Toledo en minube.com. Gracias a todas las experiencias en esta web, descubrí Alfileritos 24 y lo guardé en unos de mis planes.

Tras callejear por Toledo un viernes noche, decidimos ir a cenar al restaurante. Nada mas entrar en el local, nos recibieron con exquisita simpatía y amabilidad por parte de unos de los camareros, lo cual nos transmitió algo especial. Su arquitectura, decoración e iluminación, te hace sentir realmente en un lugar cálido e intimo, tal y como han descrito en diversas experiencias en este rincón.

Nos decidimos por cenar de tapas, así que nos quedamos en la planta de abajo. La parte de la taberna, con paredes de ladrillo, techo abovedado, mesitas bajas y unas lámparas con luz tenue, te hacía sentir una calidez y un romanticismo especial en al ambiente.

Tras revisar la carta y escuchar las recomendaciones por parte del camarero, nos dejamos guiar por él y nos decantamos por un pica-pica (croquetas cremosas de boletus, Kumato con mozzarella y vinagreta de albahaca, Patatas bravas de Alfileritos y Ciervo a la plancha con salsa de setas ) y unas Tostas (una de de jamón ibérico y otras de ciervo con manzana y módena). Todo ello aderezado con un buen vino tinto de la zona. De postre coulant de chocolate, sin palabras .. y eso que yo suelo hacer coulant casero en casa, pero ha sido realmente el único restaurante por el que me he visto superado, un 10.

Todo lo que cenamos fue excelente, a excepción de las patatas bravas, que no eran nada del otro mundo.

En mi próxima visita a Toledo será de nuevo una visita obligada, y será el restaurante que 100% recomendaré a todo el mundo que visite la ciudad.

At number 24 of the homonymous street...

At number 24 of the homonymous street, hence the name, a century Toledo house has been renovated to house a tavern and a tapas restaurant. The tavern is located on the ground floor and a basement a little 'cramped but very characteristic, especially when the floor is covered with sand. The seats are stools around low tables, a little 'uncomfortable if the group is large, but the modern style in wenge and frosted glass with walls of stone and brick makes it also a very nice place. The food served are "tapas" and "tapas", absolutely recommended tagliere mixture of meats and pates, cut the ham knife melts in your mouth. The restaurant covers all the upper floors, and tables overlook a typical patio enclosed by a glass wall at the top. If the style is very similar to that of the tavern downstairs, the comfort of the seats and the attention to detail make for a very special and elegant. The menu offers refined dishes for ingredients and presentation, try the mix of starters, risotto with seafood, rolls of duck caramelized. And after a meal, for genuine sweet tooth, the chocolate cake. The tavern is pretty cheap, never spent more than € 10 going to the group and sharing rations, while the restaurant from a price, for a standard dinner, around 30 €.

Al numero 24 della omonima via, da qui il nome, un antica casa toledana è stata ristrutturata per ospitare una taverna di tapas e un ristorante.
La taverna occupa il piano terra e un seminterrato un po' angusto ma molto caratteristico, soprattutto quando il pavimento viene ricoperto di sabbia. I posti a sedere sono sgabelli intorno a tavolini bassi, un po' scomodi se il gruppo è numeroso, ma lo stile moderno in wengé e vetri acidati con pareti di pietra e mattoni lo rende ugualmente un posto molto carino. Il cibo servito sono "tapas" e "raciones", assolutamente consigliato il tagliere misto di affettati e paté, il jamón tagliato al coltello si scioglie in bocca.
Il ristorante si estende su tutti i piani superiori, e i tavoli si affacciano su un tipico patio chiuso da una vetrata in cima. Se lo stile è molto simile a quello della taverna al piano inferiore, la comoditá dei posti a sedere e la cura dei dettagli rendono l'ambiente estremamente particolare ed elegante. Il menú propone piatti ricercati negli ingredienti e nella presentazione, da provare il mix di antipasti, il risotto ai frutti di mare, gli involtini di anatra caramellati. E a fine pasto, per autentici golosi, il dolce al cioccolato.
La taverna è piuttosto economica, mai speso piú di 10€ andando in gruppo e condividendo le razioni, mentre il ristorante parte da un prezzo, per una cena standard, di circa 30€.

La carta muy exquisita, como el trato, nos decidimos por unas medias raciones de: ensalada con queso de cabra sobre endivias acompañada con abundante cecina ibérica y colmada con granizado de tomate, unas croquetas de bogavante y mejillones, palitos de pato con mermelada y chile, hojaldre de foie con manzana caramelizada.

Para acompañar pedimos un vino de la región 'Hacienda Casa del Valle', tipo de uva syrah, costo unos 14 euros y estaba suave y delicioso, aparentemente sin alcohol, aparentemente solo.

Bien, la ensalada genial, precio 5.50 la media ración y daba para dos personas perfectamente, tiene un 10. Las croquetas impresionantes, mi pega dos de bogavante y dos de mejillones, salimos a una de cada por cabeza, probarlas vamos, el precio de la media ración unos 7 euros. Los palitos de pato, pues una gozada también, pero de nuevo cocina de diseño y 'dos' palitos, uno para cada, precio de la media ración 7 y pico. Las milhojas de foie muy ricas pero ya fue excesivo la miniatura de la cantidad, de nuevo uno para cada pero el tamaño era como un mechero bic. El precio igual unos siete la media ración.Estaban buenas pero con las milhojas les pongo un suspenso ya, muy poco muy poco. El postre lo sustituimos por un Gin Tonic al aroma de naranja y canela, 6 euros, en copa de balón, delicioso.

Total de la cuenta 47 euros. Dos personas. Cenadas y bebidas.
Mi valoracion: el local es obligado verlo, muy muy bonito. El trato fabuloso y profesional. La comida en cuanto a sabor excelente, en cuanto a cantidad aprobado porque no me quede con hambre, pero por poco, si lo hubiera sabido me hubiera pedido un plato principal sin dudarlo que salía en unos 17 euros. La carta de vinos perfecta y amplia, especificando el tipo de uva de cada uno.

En resumen si visitáis Toledo, visitad este restaurante, os gustara, no es el mas barato pero tampoco es caro.

Alfileritos 24 is a Pub / Restaurant and must see when you visit or live in Toledo. The space combines perfectly the tradition of a Toledo home and vanguard. The icing on experience is the excellent care you get and obviously from your kitchen. If you are someone who likes casual and rustic atmosphere of the tavern, your space is downstairs / cave. If instead you go on another plan, a meal or romantic dinner or just want something amplitude leads to the first floor, second or even the third. The kitchen is very good quality and excellent price. I recommend starting by Pica-Pica (combination of several tapas, tuna tartare, croquettes mussels, etc) duck rolls with apple sauce and chili sauce. The porcini carpaccio, manchego rice with ratatouille with thin slices of Parmesan and lamb chops with garlic in black pedroñeras. Exquisite all! I will return and bring friends, always!

Alfileritos 24 es una Taberna/Restaurante y visita obligada cuando visitas o vives en Toledo. El espacio combina a la perfección la tradición de una casa toledana y la vanguardia. La guinda a la experiencia es la excelente atención desde que llegas y obviamente su cocina. Si eres de los que le gusta el ambiente desenfadado y rústico de la taberna, tu espacio es la planta baja/cueva. Si por el contrario vas en otro plan, una comida o cena romántica o simplemente quieres algo más de amplitud, accede a la primera planta, segunda o hasta la tercera. La cocina es muy buena y calidad precio excelente. Recomiendo comenzar por el Pica-Pica (combinación de varias tapas, tuna tartar, croquetas de mejillones, etc) los rollitos de pato con compota de manzana y salsa chile. El carpaccio de boletus, el arroz con pisto manchego con finas lonchas de parmesano y las chuletitas de lechal con ajo negro de las pedroñeras. Exquisito todo! Volveré y traeré amigos, siempre!

Food quality in toledo

The Alfileritos 24 is located in downtown Toledo, down the street after going through the Circle of Arts, a concert hall and nightclub which is an old church. When you enter the Alfileritos realizes that is inside an ancient cave that holds the original stones, with good lighting and good atmosphere, all very nice. The restaurant is well known due to the quality of the menu and of course the food. We chose "menu pica pica," which was almost a bit of everything on the menu for 2 people and included: two saladinhas with couscous, creamy croquetas of boletus (a classic), fried cod with garlic and venison. I also asked the rollitos duck con salsa de mango, is imperative to me and I ate the tastiest. The dessert was sublime: coulant chocolate with fruits of the forest and cheese pie with biscuit. Be sure to eat at Alfileritos 24 if the Toledo, is one of my favorite restaurants in town, a treat for the palate.

O Alfileritos 24 está situado no centro de Toledo, descendo a rua depois de passar pelo Círculo de Artes, uma casa de shows e discoteca que é uma antiga igreja. Quando você entra no Alfileritos percebe que está dentro de uma antiga cova que mantém as pedras originais, com uma boa iluminação e bom ambiente, tudo muito agradável.

O restaurante é muito conhecido devido à qualidade do cardápio e claro, da comida. Escolhemos o "menu pica pica", que tinha quase um pouco de tudo do cardápio, para 2 pessoas e incluía: duas saladinhas com cuscuz, croquetas cremosas de boletus (um clássico), bacalhau frito com alho e carne de cervo. Pedi também os rollitos de pato con salsa de mango, é imprescindível e para mim o mais saboroso que comi. A sobremesa foi sublime:coulant de chocolate com frutas do bosque e torta de queijo com biscoito.

Não deixe de comer no Alfileritos 24 se for a Toledo, é um dos meus restaurantes favoritos na cidade, um mimo para o paladar.

Riquisimo! The restaurant is perfect Alfileritos 24 both to go as a couple or with friends. In the letter you can find everything from steak with vegetables to cuttlefish, risotto or venison; all cooked in a way that will make you want to return. Reconiendo the marzipan house, totally different to any you have tasted marzipan. Average price per person 25-30 euros. In the 2 and 3 floors they have double tables that overlook the courtyard very romantic

¡Riquísimo!
El restaurante Alfileritos 24 es perfecto tanto para ir en pareja como con amigos.
En la carta puedes encontrar desde solomillo con verduras hasta chipirones, risotto o una carne de ciervo; todo cocinado de tal forma que te hará querer volver.
Recomiendo el mazapán de la casa, diferente totalmente a cualquier mazapán que hayas probado.
Precio medio por persona 25-30 euros.
En las 2 y 3 plantas tienen mesas dobles que dan al patio muy románticas.

Tradition and modernity and local cuisine

The first surprise on entering this restaurant is the architectural combination that blends traditional Toledo patio with modern architecture and light. This is the same mission statement that can be found on the menu so you can find gazpacho, encebolladas partridges and crumbs (for example) given a turn for the surprising flavor. It is one of the most popular restaurants in the city and I had been told everything from it was an obligatory stop until he had "converted" to be too well known. My experience is that great and dinner will be one of the sites we recommend for dinner over Toledo.

Tradición y modernidad en cocina y local

Lo primero que sorprende al entrar en este restaurante es la combinación arquitectónica que mezcla un patio tradicional toledano con arquitectura más moderna y luminosa. Esta es la misma declaración de intenciones que se puede encontrar en el menú, así se pueden encontrar gazpachos, perdices encebolladas y migas (por ejemplo) dadas una vuelta para que el sabor sea sorprendente.

Es uno de los restaurantes más conocidos de la ciudad y me habían dicho de todo, desde que era una parada obligatoria hasta que se había "convertido" al ser demasiado conocido. Mi experiencia es que cenamos estupendamente y será uno de los sitios que más recomendaría para cenar por Toledo.

Dinner at toledo

We were having dinner my girlfriend and I at the tavern, as the menu we wanted more than the restaurant. It is a very nice and romantic time. It is a renovated cave gives especisl charm. Regarding the food, well prepared and tasty, but I guess the restaurant yet. The service was good, a little slow because it was busy but very attentive. Do not hesitate to dine in this place.

Estuvimos cenando mi novia y yo en la taberna,ya que el menu nos apetecia mas que el del restaurante.

Es un sitio muy agradable y a la vez romantico. Es una cueva reformada que le da un encanto especisl.

Respecto a la comida, bastante elaborada y sabrosa,supongo que el restaurante mas todavía.

El servicio fue bueno,un poco lentos debido a que estaba lleno,pero muy atentos.

No dudeis en comer o cenar en este lugar.

We decided to dine at the tavern of which is based on tapas and is like a cave. We ordered ham, hash mushrooms (delicious), baked potatoes with mojo picon and aioli (were hard, they were missing a little cooking) and a toast deer with apple and modena (delicious, the meat was very tender) and coulant dessert with berries. Nosotros decidimos cenar en la parte de la taberna que es a base de tapas y se encuentra como en una especie de cueva. Pedimos jamón ibérico, croquetas de boletus (deliciosas), patatas asadas con mojo picón y alioli (estaban duras,les faltaba un poco más de cocción) y una tosta de ciervo con manzana y modena (deliciosa,la carne estaba muy tierna) y de postre coulant con frutos rojos. Todo esto nos salió por unos 35€, el personal es muy amable, es un sitio que merece la pena

A must if you go to Toledo. Service and excellent tapas. A highlight of the conference cover 2015, an oxtail mushrooms from the mountains of Toledo. Cover with 4 course tasting also worthwhile, among which deer and croquettes. Another interesting option is the eggplant with honey and sesame sauce. The wine, a Tempranillo in the area.

Imprescindible si vas a Toledo. Servicio y tapas excelentes. A destacar la tapa de las jornadas de 2015, un boletus de rabo de toro de los montes de Toledo. La tapa degustación con 4 platos también merecen la pena, entre las que destacan el ciervo y las croquetas. Otra opción interesante son las berenjenas con salsa de miel y sésamo. El vino, un tempranillo de la zona.
