Altar Chapel of the Relics

This chapel is on the right aisle of the sanctuary of Bom Jesus and it's impressive. Precisely so named because it's made by a cabinet with six heights that is completely full of relics of various saints. The ark beneath the altar, containing the bones of San Clemente, a Roman soldier martyred in the third century AD was most shocking. They have been treated with wax and plaster and are on display without any shame.
