Ancient Kamiros

Situated on top of a hill about 30 km southwest of the capital, was one of the three most active cities of medieval Rhodes. The city was destroyed by an earthquake but you can still visit the ruins of the temple of Athena, the ancient market and the temple of Dorian. Admission is 6 euros (students are free) but it is only open until 14:45.
