1 review of Angel of the North

A huge statue

Newcastle, capital of the north of England, is famous for its winds (which sometimes blow up to 160km/h), its always-full pubs, and its football team. Less is known about the giant statue that marks the entrance of the city, standing near Gateshead. It is a huge statue that might even frighten some people. I loved it though, a fascinating design and really evocative.
