AQ restaurant

This restaurant is about strong, direct flavors. It's based on Catalan and Spanish tradition but also adds a touch of Asian flair. You can find things like ceviche, callos, fish, and meat, all as fresh as can be. We chose the Petit tasting menu and we left stuffed. The restaurant is very cute and inviting, the type of place where you could spend hours. The best part (aside from the food) was that you could talk shop with the owners, exchanging recipes, tips, and the life. They were really friendly.

My favorite part about AQ was the tasting menu. There are several you can choose from and they all looked innovative and delicious. The grilled tuna was by far my favorite and the side of "pan de cristal" was a lovely surprise. To finish things off, we had a lemon sorbet with yogurt and maracuya cream that was exquisite. The food was well-presented and the service was friendly. The restaurant itself is nice and the views are great.

This is a designer seafood restaurant where you can get a tasting menu and various starters for around 40 Euros. The atmosphere and music are great and it's located right next to the cathedral!
