Scholastic Art Competition
The Art League of Houston has an exhibition of the Golden Key winners of the Scholastic Art Competition. In its 86 year history, some of the most famous writers and artists such as Richard Avedon, Truman Capote, Robert Indiana, Bernard Malamud, Joyce Maynard, Philip Pearlstein, Sylvia Plath, Robert Redford and Andy Warhol have been recognized in this competition .
