A very cozy place
If you happen to stay in Ayr (which is just 10 minutes by taxi from Glasgow Prestwick Airport, and an ideal destination for a flying visit), and are planning a walk through the streets of the city, I also recommend that you take the opportunity to stop and try a pint (or two...) in the Glenpark Hotel, home of local micro-brewery Ayr Brewing Company. The Glenpark Hotel is the ideal place to enjoy the different types of ales and porter produced by the brewery that is located in the building next door. The atmosphere in the pub is intimate and familiar. It is very cozy, with nothing more than the saloon with a classic wooden bar, five tables, and a sofa placed in the bow window.
