Friendly and helpful
In Alta there are several hotels I choose the Rica. It is on the expensive side but it has a good breakfast buffet. It costs like 200 crowns more than other hotels in the area. The woman who run the place is super friendly and helpful. We arrived at about 11pm and we had nothing to eat, so she instructed us where we could go buy a pizza and that we could cook it in her oven, this was very thoughtful on her part. I would recommend this site, it is only 10 minutes or less walk from the center of Alta, and being outside of the city you can see the aurora borealis better.
