Unique spanish aquarium

L'Aquarium de Barcelona was the first one built in Spain in which you could walk through a glass tunnel while all sorts of species, including some sharks, swam around you. It's a unique experience, definitely worth trying. Besides that part, there are plenty of other aquariums that house many species from all the oceans and some rivers. I've brought you a small sample of species that can be seen if you visit here.

Go to spend the morning or afternoon ...

Go to spend the morning or afternoon to the Aquarium is a great idea especially if you go with children, because they are adapted to areas where they can run and play learning. There is a tank on site where you can watch closely as the different types of swimming bay, is curious to see these bizarre beings planning at high speed between the still waters of the aquarium. What fascinates me is the aquarium which houses seahorses, many species, including sea dragon of algae, which looks like a flying dragon, with fins and slender figure. Another beautiful variety is the leafy sea dragon, which is similar to algae, going completely unnoticed, with plenty of "wings" in his tiny little body. They are truly remarkable beings, seem taken from a book of fantasy, the style "Neverending Story".

The barcelona aquarium is located on ...

The Barcelona Aquarium is located on the waterfront of Port Vell, next to the Imax 3D cinema. It is huge, so the visit may well last a couple of hours if you want to see well. It consists of several areas:-The aquariums: There are 21 tanks in which you can see 11,000 animals and 450 different species, both fish of all kinds such as plant species, corals, anemones, starfish and seahorses, etc.. They are classified by habitat, and there are 14 dedicated to Mediterranean marine fauna. -The Oceanarium: underwater tunnel, which runs up on a conveyor belt. It's awesome go under water, watching the sharks and other species, especially when they feed. -The exhibition "Water Planet": A space where there are some aquariums (penguins, sea stars that can be played ...) as well as a number of explanations through hearing panels and interactive exhibition about the different animals and habitats in the world. -The exhibition "Explore" interactive area, particularly devoted to children. For example, you can enter a replica submarine, or in the stomach of a whale ... Of course, souvenir shop features. Adult entry costs 17 € and children (4-12 years) 12 €. Open daily from 9.30 am to 21h (weekends until 21:30), and July and August until 23h. A very interesting, especially to visit with children. Also, next we have the Imax cinema and the Maremagnum shopping center and entertainment where you can drink.

I met the Barcelona Aquarium by chance ... it was a pleasant surprise! I found the price a bit steep ... are only 16 euros to enter the aquarium. Upon entering they take a picture of you that will be sold at the end for 8 euros. It is worthwhile to have a beautiful memory.

If you are on time to Barcelona is worth a visit. Many aquatic species and lots of fun, especially if you have children. It costs about 15 euros and worth.

It is good but it is the best aquarium I've seen, and it seems a bit expensive entry for what it offers.
