Beja Castle

Castle Portel differs from the one in Portel because it is in the city center. Entry is free and in one corner there is the tourist information. It is a castle that still retains its imposing tower. It's well worth a visit, as the rest of the Alentejo is a quiet and very nice to visit if you're in the area.
