Beaches of Benicassim

Benicassim has five White-sand beaches that form six kilometers of great-quality costal shoreline. As a matter of fact, their classified by the European Unionas the “Bandera Azul” (Blue Flag) beaches. In addition to taking a dip and sunbathing, there are other fun activities to take advantage of, like windsurfing, kite-surfing, snorkeling, etc.

The names of the beaches are: Heliópolis, Els Terreres, Torre San Vicent, L´Almadrava and Voramar.

Benicassim has different white sand beaches. From south to north they are the following:
Heliópolis: it has a long promenade where you can enjoy the sea and use the services of the “sea library”. It has a bike lane that communicates Benicassim with Castellón and allows you to do things next to the sea, sport or leisure.

In the summer there are activities such as gymnastics in the beach and touristic activities, and also leisure activities such as cinema in the beach. They have places where you can rent umbrellas, hammocks, and roller blades, as well as embarkation areas and a place to rent surf boards. The beach was awarded the “blue flag” of the European seas.

In this town of Castellon, you can find beaches that haven’t been taken over by the masses, which means… you can get some well needed rest and relaxation. They’re protected by a mountain, which insures a nice microclimate. The boardwalk gives you the chance to take a nice seaside walk.
