Brueckner Rhododendron Garden

The Brueckner Rhododendron Garden is located along the lake in Mississauga, Ontario, a part of Port Credit village. The garden is named after Dr. Joseph Brueckner who generously donated hundreds of rhododendrons to the gardens. The best time of year to visit this park is from mid-May to mid-June when the flowers are in full bloom. This space is incredibly unique as it is a public garden that is open year round to everyone; it is not simply a public park space. The rhododendron shrubs thrive in this proper micro-climate that is essential to their survival. The presence of pines and oaks provide shelter from direct sunlight and protection from the wind.
