Kuranda village is touristy and there you can shop at flea markets, see Australian nocturnal animals or throw yourself off the top of a crane with your feet tied to a rope that keeps your head off the ground after falling about 25 or 30 meters, I would guess. In this kind of adrenaline rush is called Bungy jumping. We were thinking about it but we chickened out. It's quite expensive but even if it had been free,I don't think we would have done it anyway (bungy, bungee jumping and extreme sports were becoming popular at that time, in '94 when we were in Anglo countries. It wasn't that it hadn't arrived in Spain but rather that we didn't know that it existed.
