Buvette Cachat

The French word buvette means 'fountain'. This is the mineral water drinker who constructed Mr. Cachat when he discovered the medicinal properties of its fountain. Constructed in the year 1908, it is an example of Art Nouveau, with decor that gives a sense of luxury and splendor that surrounded an activity as simple as drinking water. It was the first spa of Evian. The spring is located just behind the building.
