A lively place
Camden High Street is the most famous part of Camden, home to the punk movement and, later, Amy Winehouse. There are many small markets, and you can see a lively example of alternative culture (punk, goth, anti-globalization). The population is quite young and lively, but the old locks still provide a hint of the more traditional side of London.
