A favorite among tourists

Camden Town is a district in north London, home to a huge, vibrant and colorful flea market which draws a hundred thousand people on the weekend! This is a favorite among tourists visiting London. There are several parts: Camden Lock, which is on the edge of Regent's Canal, is very nice in the summer with its small restaurant terraces serving America, Caribbean, African and Latin cuisine. The canal also allows visitors to come to Camden by boat! Or, you can get off at the Camden Town metro station. Camden Lock was a craft market, but now there are beautiful pictures, vinyl, souvenirs for tourists and hippie objects. The other part of the market is Camden Stables, the largest market, which was built on the former stables of the Midlands railway company. There are stalls selling trendy clothes, furniture, bric a brac, jewelry, and small gadgets. The market burned down on February 9 but there were no deaths (though about 400 people lost their jobs). Now the market is open normally as Camden Lock and Camden Stables were not burned.

London's most fun neighborhood

Camden Town is a tube stop on the Northern underground line in the London borough of Camden. It's famous all over the world, but what makes it so interesting and popular among tourists? Camden boasts one of the most colorful markets where you can find most anything but, more than that, the objects tend to be original and affordable. Another popular thing in Camden are the people who move there like the punks, hippies, goths and all the other "urban tribes" imaginable. To eat in the area, there are some streets are exclusively food stalls, where you can find Chinese, Indian, Japanese food and more ...it's funny, the price changes by the hour of the day. It is unfortunate that in 2008 a fire burnt some of the streets, but it's well worth going nonetheless. No one can say they've been to London if they haven't visited Camden.

Unique

The prince of London neighborhoods, Camden Town has a unique character, with creativity and originality in the very air. Look out for the 3D shop signs that seem to be a part of the buildings, and greet the visitor in an unusual and special way.

A bit of everything, including art and ride

The Londoner staying and a friend who had lived in London, I was advised to go for a walk in Camden Town, north of the center of the capital. It was a good opportunity to get out of the historic monuments and go into something more typical London. So I got off the bus and came across a number of deli, fast food stalls and cheap imported clothing stores. Moving to a creek that runs out there, I got to the right, looking for something to eat. After strolling among stalls outdoor-shirts with pictures and funny sayings, handmade jewelry, handbags, coats, ... - I saw the options. Indian, Mexican, French, a bit of everything for less than 5 pounds English. What most attracted me were the chairs: True mini scooters, brightly painted, facing the creek, as you can see in the pictures. Across the street are the buildings 'official' Camden Markets: Old stables converted into vast hallways and mazes of food stalls, clothing, jewelry, jokes, wrestling masks, books, desk accessories , etc, etc, etc ... Things reasonably priced, and definitely very original ... I confess that I was right to leave the wallet at home, but I have spent a paste incredible! An essential stop for anyone who wants to go shopping, looking for something original, fun and cheap!

Hundred thousand people every weekend

Camden Town is a district in north London, which has a huge market for second-hand goods, a vibrant and colorful market, which is visited by up to a hundred thousand people every weekend! It is one of the favorite places of visitors to the British capital. There are several parts, Camden Lock, is beside the Regent's Canal, very pleasant in summer, has terraced restaurants, and you can try the Caribbean and Latin American cuisine. The channel also allows visitors to come to Camden boat! If not, is reached by the black line metro station of Camden Town. Camden Lock was once a craft market but now are old photos, souvenirs for tourists, hippies objects ... The other part is Camden Stables Market, which is the largest market, was built on former stables of railway society the Midlands. There are fashion clothing stores, but also style techno, gothic, alternative things, furniture stores, some shops are fixed, and others are more vendor stalls that change each week, with jewelry or small objects. The market was burned on February 9, but the two sides remain intact and open.

The fair of the vanities econmicas

Is the trace, as with capital letters, with all the acepcin of the word; the only place where you can shop, eat and stroll after time channels. As sound and visual contrasts as Cyberdog shop that offers "fluo" funky clothing inspiration Techno, dozens of art galleries and design, books, furniture and antiques, espaola food, Mexican, Vietnamese or Cuban, a calendar of events It seems endless and includes concerts, street theater and exhibitions, all this and more is Camden. The area that now comprises Camden Town was given until the time the Regent's Canal was constructed to link it with the Thames, a vigorous and fertile crops AGRICULTURAL area. His past as a market has no deep roots, because only in 1972 when they really began to rent the premises that were in the basement of the buildings to some craftsmen concerned. With them came the others, antique dealers, selling clothes and shoes, sb tiracervezas clever, to form what is now worldwide tour and meet the substantial quality of their goods. Add to this the daily opening of the market (instead of Sunday as initially), creation of a nearby subway station, and a current policy of continuous updating and improvement of the entire space which comprises sum. It really is a market to enjoy because it is not the typical offering trinkets inputs from the east, but everything you see has that aspect of quality (including coats lamb used as the one I bought for £ 12) . It's different, is unique, is Camden.

If you are looking for victims of fas...

If you are looking for Victims of Fashion, the latest alternative trends in shoes, bags, textiles, piercing, body art, incense, if you like to hunt, if you want to distract you. . . Look no further. "Welcome to Camden Markets." The last time I went there it was last year and I plan to return this year to the end of February because it is always with some zest that I love to go there. Because what makes the charm of this place it is eccentricity. About alternative fashion, we discover incredible things, like fashion Gothic, Punk, retro, Fetish distributed in small shops or each room offers its universe but also the vision of the difference. This is the place to go for the younger generation eager for recognition as London by the demonstration that the dress look that inspires them their power. Everyone agrees with preferences, differences, not the least segregation. A Camden everyone is free to say without being prey to ridicule, maybe this is precisely why I love this place. Camden is also the possibility of finding nice Pub, where everyone has his world as "Elephants Head" on Camden High Street, or the "The Good Mixer" on Inverness Street not to mention gothic "The Devonshire Arms "on Kentish Town Road. In short more than twenty Pub will offer beers and cocktails. Venture out to the canal and enjoy the friendly "Market Channel" recognized for the diversity of these small stands or for its low price. For lovers of old vinyl LPs see, you will find such gems in the shop "All Ages Records" on the "Main street" you will find more up close to the canal. I made a superb standard of "Montown" collection of old for just 30 pence 7. "In short what I just said above is just a small glimpse of what lies behind the Market Camden, expect the afternoon to see everything, because this place is full of small markets, streets and exhibition stands. sure to leave you with no doubt a little something, oh yeah oh yeah, remember to take your camera to keep in memory the different facades of different custom shops. metro station near Happy Discovery

. . Ne cherchez plus.

"Welcome to Camden Markets".

For me the best is the food

It's not what it was, it is true, but how to go to London and do not shop around Camden? The Camden and street market has changed dramatically in a few years. Possibly there live and circulate their own people, punks, neo-punks, hippies, and immigrants, but the place has become so busy that they are lost in the crowd. Camden Anyway still a great ride for the weekend. It is easy to get (Camden Tube station), and there is an amazing amount of clothing stores, jewelry, leather jackets, decorative objects and vintage clothing. However, for me the best is the food. As before, the food stalls Eastern (Vietnamese, Cambodian and Thai) are inescapable. A good idea is to return to the center of London on foot, through the beautiful Regent's Park.

Where to find everything on the cheap

Camden Town is a fantastic area of London, full of markets, you can find items, clothes, accessories, and much more at low prices. If you treat prices with great bargains. It 'a great place if you want to buy some souvenirs for friends or relatives ... There are also plenty of eating places. I also noticed that there is a boat that takes tourists around in the Thames, one thing I have yet to try ... If you go on the weekend you will find it much more lively than other days ...

Market of love

Next stop: Camden Town Market. Just off the bus we have a Sunday gigantesto market where we can buy and eat whatever we want. Here we can find T-shirts with slogans Rogues and souvenir shops full of memories of London. It is a fantastic place where all the souvenirs we will something cheaper. We can also find clothes, suck "leather" or, the most striking to me, drug. Yes, in these markets sell sachets with "plants" in various colors, but honestly is what really surprised me because I was curious about what was in those bags. Well, another quality of this market is the countless food stalls there, where you get to sample everything. As a final curiosity there is also a set of typical foods of Galicia. Well, in short Camden Town is a place you must visit (especially on Sundays) and carry something in there, be it clothes, food, gifts, anything goes.

Market of love

One day different shopping

This is definitely one of the places you always want me back, since I first visited ten years. I have been many times but it always surprises me ... It is a unique place in many ways. As a neighborhood, you can you lose a whole day touring all lanes, each with its own personality, with lots of different and interesting shops where you can find gothic, futuristic clothing, collectibles, crafts .... is easy to spend hours without even realizing it you dislike shopping ... As people usually spend some time wandering through the shops, there are a lot of posts with many takeaways for everyone: Chinese, Indian , Italian ... Very peculiar rows of seats bikes along the canal where you can sit and eat. I find it very curious also the variety of people go through this market ... Many tourists of course, but also many local people with totally different styles. All this located in a neighborhood along a canal where there are small shops boat (as seen in photo) with second-hand books, etc ... that gives this market a distinctive touch. It is a popular place and I think you can not go to London without visiting ... Highly recommended!

The alternative district of london

Camden Town is a neighborhood north of central London which clashes with classical and tidy which is the rest of the city. Here thrive quirky shops, street food stalls and especially the good atmosphere, with a touch bohemian. Visiting Camden Town will surprise the shops that sell the most peculiar clothes and antiques and anything we imagine, especially if it is odd. It is advisable to visit the neighborhood at lunchtime, by the large number of posts that are a good price, and because we can enjoy the atmosphere and relax on the banks of the river, where we find a gap. A must-see in London.

You can not leave London if you have not made a visit to the market more 'most bizarre' fashion trendy more more more ... The British capital. Candem raggiungibilissimo the city with the metro line Black, not even make a post or through the canal boat ride from Hyde Park or take a taxi (but it would be better not to costucchia).
