Canet beach

Canet Beach is one of two urban beaches in this town, north of the province of Barcelona. It's the largest and most central, as it is located opposite the historical centre of the town. It's a long stretch of golden sand, about two miles long, bordered by the promenade. The occupancy rate is high in the summer season and the local train station is opposite, allowing easy access from Barcelona. The rest of the season is much quieter. It has the blue flag category, so it has multiple services including showers, toilets and rescue service. There are several wooden walkways allowing access by disabled people.
