Cargo Bar is on the Rhine and in an unusually quiet area ... In fact, although it is only two minutes from the center, it's very quiet in summer even if groups of friends get together for a drink! Funny thing is, is that they brought the sand to create an artificial beach in the area, but in the end the project wasn't finished. The bar is accessible by all Basel transport systems (bus and tram). Bar staff are super nice and if you do not speak German or Swiss German, don't worry, there's always someone ve speaks English or French or Spanish or Italian .... Great!
