Casa Velha Restaurant

Casa Velha is a spacious and cozy restaurant located in the heart of Lousa, a village that is about half an hour from Coimbra. Since its located in mountain area, the specialties are game meats like tasty boar with chestnuts, roast goats, etc. Don't miss their famous cod, it comes prepared in many different ways, but the most typical dish of the area is one called "bacalhao to broa" which is shredded cod with breadcrumbs.
