Chiang Mai

After breakfast at the local market watching monks begging for the meal of the day, I found a nice hostel. When in Latin America and Africa people have been awake for some time, the people in Chiang Mai are still partially sleeping. It is a city much quieter than Bangkok, still fairly traditional but there are also modern things like high-speed internet and comfortable hotels. It´s interesting to stay in the market watching everything, like how the men come and go with food, how the kids play and try to steal fruit or when they are given candy, or when the women prepare the offers at the temple, and the food of the monks.

In the garden of one temple in Chiang Mai, a town located in the North of Thailand, there was this statue of a buddha surrounded by dozens of colorful tulips. I found this place very inspiring and very zen in the sense that you just want to stay there, medidate and enjoy the beautiful and quiet place

A must do trip around Chang Mai!!!

Woke up in the morning with fresh air and birds call, smelling the sweet in the air. I wanna go back there again.
