Exceedingly striking
I didn't expect to find this exceedingly striking mosque, or a church, in a largely Buddhist area, but there it was. Strolling through Chiang Rai I found Darum Aman Mosque. It seems to have been recently built, or at least it was very clean and apparently new. I was amazed by the influence of Asian decor, both in the minaret and the small turrets. I would love to provide more information, but I wasn't able to enter because I was wearing suspenders (and forgot my scarf), and I couldn't find any info online, so the next person who finds out more information, please let us all know!
