CLock tower in the main square

This church with its clock tower is in the main square. It was the church of Santa Maria of the Plaza constructed in the 9th century. Around the central space beneath the dome there are six apses, which like the large central drum, were decorated with blind arches. Its remains are preserved to this day. There was also a porch which would then be demolished and in the year 1947, the Votive Church of San Sebastian was built to protect the city from the plague.
