Church of the Jesuits

4 reviews of Church of the Jesuits

Early Baroque

The Jesuit church of San Francisco Javier has much to do with Spain. At least with the Jesuits who founded it. It was built in the seventeenth century, an example of the early Baroque buildings in the country. Right next to the river, a short walk from the Chapel Bridge. As it is so central, it's worth a quick visit.
