Church precious blood

After crossing its threshold, almost without realizing it, you seem to go back centuries in history. Its vaults, arches and columns are wonderful exhibits of architecture from centuries ago and it is almost incomprehensible to us how, using the equipment and tools of the time, it was possible to create it. Worth a visit.

Interpretation center easter

This Jesuit church is named after it since 1899 is guarded by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood. It was built in the eighteenth century in Baroque style, as part of a College of the Society of Jesus. The highlight of the exterior are the two tall spiers topped by pyramidal towers flanking the main entrance, located at the end of the steps of the Plaza de San Jorge. Above the door, consisting of a semicircular arch, there is a niche with the image of St. Francis Xavier and the arms of Castile and Leon. The altarpiece of the main altar is framed by Corinthian columns, and has a canvas depicting the "Miracle of the Crab". Currently there are worshiped in it but can be visited, paying a rate of 1 €. The visit worthwhile and includes: Inside the church, the bell towers rise to (with spectacular views), and admission to the museum-exhibition of icons. It can be visited at the following times:-Summer: 10-14 and 17:30 to 20:30 h-Winter: 10-14 and 16:30 to 19:30 h

-Verano: 10-14 y 17:30-20:30h
-Invierno: 10-14 y 16:30-19:30h

You need to know! This church hosts a gem inside! On the cost side we find the center of interpretation of Holy Week (perfect for who you like) but beyond that central cistern bears a striking Baroque! It's great and awesome ... worth seeing and is often the most overlooked. Do not miss it ..
