Enjoy a malt where Harry S. Truman had his first job
The Pineapple Malts at Clinton's Soda Fountain are well worth a stop, but the best reason to stop by is that this is the place where President Harry S. Truman held his first job as a boy when it was Crown Drug Store.
If the weather is nice, grab your malt, shake, ice cream or fountain drink and stroll around Independence Square. If the weather isn't nice then take advantage of the fun atmosphere inside of Clinton's Soda Fountain. Having a seat at one of the many booths at the end of the shop while you survey the atmosphere and sip on your drink will make you feel like you've stepped back in time.
