Cuenca

Cuenca is a major city in the center of Ecuador and is referred to as one of the country's most beautiful cities. It is preserved by UNESCO for it perfect colonial architecture, its cathedral, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, is a jewel in this beautiful city. It's called the new cathedral church compared to the tabernacle, which is one of the oldest churches in Latin America, and was built in 1557. In front of the cathedral, there is a beautiful flower market, you buy candles to burn as an offering to the virgin in the church, there are plaques commemorating the miracles of the Virgin of Cuenca.

Colonial Church

Excellent

This city should receive a title of honor. It is a tourist town so the prices are more expensive than most of the country but there are many small hotels that are clean and friendly. This beautiful city, to my taste was Ecuador's cleaner and more cared for in the country, if only ... to walk through the center or go to eat and / or guinea pig or roast dinner, any tourist visiting the country, would have to go to Cuenca, because it is fantastic.
