Community la Cueva, the Devil's Mouth

Before reaching the cliff of Boca del Diablo you pass through the small township of La Cueva, it was given its name for having been built in the vicinity of a cave. The people here are poor and lack basic facilities, yet offer their friendship, smiles and help if you need it. They have built a school with the help of an international institution and also have a church. You will see their houses painted in attractive colors, and some look in better condition than others. You will also be amazed to see the gates that surround the beautiful summer homes, all contrasting with the blue sea and limitations of the area.
