excellent tourist attractions

The Bodensee form the German border with Switzerland and Austria. The lake is 74 kilomters long and at its widest reaches 15 kilometers. It is an area with excellent tourist attractions because of it's natural environment and surrounding villages with a rich cultural heritage. The best time to visit is in the summer when you can truly enjoy the outdoors, swim, practice water sports etc ... This is also the time when local fishermen organize lively festivals and fairs where people of all ages can participate. For a country so far from the sea, this area is called their "beach". It is a holiday destination of many Germans.

Southern Bavaria and Constance Lake

This is in the German Alps, near Lake Constance and all Alpine lakes. Peace, Environmental Culture, Sport, Nature, Beauty all in harmony with us. A delight for adventurous tourists. You can wander around the woods, make ambitious alpine ascents, cross beautiful unspoiled lakes, escape the hustle and bustle of the city and live the purest Alpine environment in a unique setting. An unforgettable journey that will leave its mark on anyone who can get there.

Constanza Lake

On the way to the Black Forest we stopped to visit Lake Constance, the largest continental lake in Germany. This lake is surrounded by Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Rhine River enters the lake by Austria (south) and rises in the west, marking the border between Switzerland and Germany. The largest town on the lake, with 80,000 people, is Constance. We also stopped in Lindau, an island with port and two main points of interest - the lighthouse and the lion of Bavaria. There's also a beautiful medieval centre there and a bridge and viaduct connects the city to the mainland. But there are other lagoon islands such as Mainau and Reichenau Island.
