Costa Coffee

Costa Coffee is a Starbucks-style coffee chain with a wide selection of world coffees and pastries. At first I found it quite expensive (more than 3 euros for a simple coffee or hot chocolate) but if you compare it to Starbucks, it's much cheaper. Depending on the branch, there is a more or less extensive selection of things to eat, sometimes prepared sandwiches, but usually only croissants and pastries. If you don't like coffee you can have tea but there's only 1 type. The Brighton Costa is in the city center

Decent coffee at reasonable prices

Good

Costa is a reliable vendor of decent coffee at reasonable prices. However in Brighton there is a wealth of more independent and quirky cafes, particularly is you head towards the North Laine area, while the coffee may be of varying quality they are certainly a better bet if you want to see something nicer than the drab interior of an office block as you drink your latte.
