The small town of Piemontesa is at the foot of the Italian Alps . Nearby the River Po starts and it passes through the town. Italians holiday here. It is beautiful to look at, and incredibly peaceful. In summer the mountain is an intense green, crowned by the snowy summit of Mount Monviso, the highest in Italy.
