I have to confess my disappointment when I saw this church closed convent, was preparing a wedding and a christening, so in the morning had closed its doors, I was not seeing his wonderful altarpiece, one of the most beautiful churches in this city , which no doubt I will come back another time to see if he deserves all the accolades read. This Church, former convent, has a cover made of a mannerist arch framed by two Tuscan half columns on plinths, all topped by a pediment, with the arms of the Carmelite Order inserted. In the chancel what most stands out is its three altarpieces, especially central or more, made circa 1747 and considered one of the most interesting examples of the eighteenth century Andalusian Baroque.

Mudjar beautiful example of art in antequera.

This interesting temple was constructed in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth century and is one of the most important monuments of this Andalusian city. Given its location, it seems that life is watching the city. Soledad Chapel, to the right of the central nave, seems an independent church.

It was built in the Mudejar style in the late sixteenth century and early seventeenth centuries. It was originally a convent of Discalced Carmelites, in fact, appears in the front shield of Carmel. Outside the church is very simple, but inside is decorated very rich. Of great interest, especially the altarpiece of the main altar, a Baroque altarpiece fully decorated. Also stand the side walls of the chapel, decorated with murals, and lacunar of the nave.
