Diocesan Civic Museum

The Diocesan Civic Museum is situated in the city of Pescara. The museum was opened in May 2001 and aims to review and update the material which came from the investigation of the archaeological excavations of Baron Jean Baptiste Leopardi, and reconstruct the Vestino area's history from the Upper Palaeolithic to the Middle Ages. In the museum you can see the reconstruction of a tomb of a warrior (from the 5th century a.d.) and also the support from a tardoellenistica grave.
