Dos Silveras House or Two Viscounts of Guiaes

The Casa dos Silveiras or dos Viscondes de Guiães is on the corner of Plaza de la Catedral and Plaza de Camoes. It is a typical emblazoned buildings where the aristocracy lived, on the shield are the weapons of Teixeira, the Borge and Carvalho. It's two stories high with its façade, many windows and decorated granite balconies standing out. The house has been used for many years as a catering establishment, first by a pension (Pensão Comércio), and after being completely remodeled, it now functions as a guesthouse.
