The center of the city
As in most American cities, the Downtown of San Diego is the economic and business center of the city. Here you'll find the historic Gaslamp Quarter and the huge, open air Horton Plaza Mall. It's also home to some skyscrapers and tall buildings, but the palm trees help to retain the city's particular charm.
