Duquesa- El Castillo Beach

This was the closest beach to our hotel that we could walk to. It measures approx 1km and a half, but the sand is very fine ands dark compared to Castillo de la Duquesa beach. It is well equipped with toilets, hammocks etc and it is easy to access on foot, by car, by bus .. etc. While walking through it, we found a group of fishing boats. This beach also has children's play area and beach volleyball. It has two distinct areas - one near the river, past the Castle and further down where there are smaller coves with breakwaters and rocks.
