Duquesne Incline

I highly recommend the Duquesne Incline to anyone visiting Pittsburgh. We stopped here on a day trip into the city. You can travel by day or by night. We were able to park our car at the bottom of the entrance. It is a historic tram that transports you from the base of the escarpment up to the top. The red tram is quite iconic - I even bought a Christmas ornament of it there. It is only $2/pp each way to ride. We rode twice - once to the top and once to the bottom. When you reach the top, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city to see the many bridges, skyscrapers, and the view of the water.

It's one of those things people tell you that you have to do when you come to Pittsburgh but, frankly, it's not worth the time.
