Tallest building in berlin

The television tower (Fernsehturm) is the tallest building around Berlin, and from which you can enjoy the best views of the city on a clear day. The tower, which became operational in 1969, was one of the symbols of East Germany overlooking the capitalist West Berlin, and was a sign of the greatness of technological innovation in the country. The viewing deck is located more than 200 meters above the ground, but the antenna goes up to 368 m. You can ascend in an elevator for 10 euros, a trip that takes 40 seconds. There is a rotating restaurant at the top, but to be honest it's a bit pricey for what it is.

The needle berlin

Since 1969, the tower built by Dieter and Franke, and Berliners nicknamed "Telesprrago" dominates the huge Alexanderplatz with its towering 365 meters high. Above all an impressive steel ball diameter of 32 meters from houses various techniques facilities, but also we found a bar- restaurant and observation platform from where you can admire a magnificent panorama of Berlin. After a queue to pass security checks entered the base, where acquire tickets to climb to the summit and were waiting for our turn in elevators (recommend going early because the wait can reach extended one hour and a half). We reached our time climbed to an upper floor where again had another security check and we expect the ultrarpido lift in less than 30 seconds puts us on the platform. No less than 200 are the people who can hold the caf panormico installed on a rotating ring that takes an hour to describe a complete rotation. We stick to the glass like flies, trying to find the best angle to capture a Berlin that was undressing before us with a different perspective than we had hitherto shown. Essential.

Imprescindible.

Beautiful views of the city

This is how it is known that this tower is nothing more and nothing less than 368 m in height. In German we shall learn nothing, so its translation is the Television Tower, located near Alexanderplatz in central Berlin. It was built in 1969 and was used as an image of the old and no longer existing government of East Germany as a symbol of the former East Berlin. In fact it still is, it is mandatory to stop at this place to see this tower, which at 368 m making it the 2nd tallest building in Europe. The first you know what is it, it is the Ostankino Tower (Moscow). If you look at the photos on its top there is a large area in which are contained a restaurant and an observation deck. From the lookout you will have a lovely view of the town about 200 meters high. And a few feet above the viewpoint is the restaurant that has a peculiarity, and that rotates 360 degrees every thirty minutes. Within that stick so high on which rests the area there are 2 lifts that you climb up there in 40 seconds. Oh I forgot, climb up and enjoy the viewpoint costs 8 € and breakfast about 7 €. It is worth you to come and enjoy.

If you get lost, you orientars with.

We christened my friends and I as "German lollipop", is located in the busiest area Alexanderplazt Berlin so we could even observe my friends and I on our little trip. Always ended, our outings in place. In the square is a beautiful fountain, a gallery style but with more English Court of plants containing one here) and a terrace quite palatable. This "lollipop" helped guide us when we got lost once in a neighborhood that did not know. Thanks to its high altitude, we could see (Wherever we always saw) and dirijirnos through (long walk).

The views are expectaculares

Television tower, which is called Telespargel (Toothpick) by Berliners is the building more high in the city with its 365 meters and one of the most highest in Europe. Its unique silhouette dominates the skyline and you may see it from almost anywhere downtown. It was built in the 60s following a much earlier socialist idea (in fact, its design is very reminiscent of the socialist realism). It is up to it or not see alike. I recommend climbing if you have time and patience to endure long lines and high price to pay. That s, the views are spectacular, especially when it is getting dark. A mythical building in Berlin. It is curious contrast produced by the Church of Santa Mara gtica ... A true reflection of what is the architecture of Berlin: A fortsima hodgepodge of styles, tastes and trends.

The fernsehthurm is the tallest build...

The Fernsehthurm is the tallest building in Berlin (with its 368 meter) and therefore offers the best view of the city for tourists and clients panoramic restaurant is at the top. Built on the Alexanderplatz in 1967 this tower of radio and TV broadcast is the symbol of the GDR and the Soviet policy that would finish with the past by destroying the old German buildings to build new ones (in the case a hall of the nineteenth century). It is ironic that today the figure of the Soviet Union became one of the icons of the Western German capital (including the tourism aspect) as to prove that Berlin, a city of memory, able to mourn its past and directs his gaze to the future while integrating its particular history.

The Berlin TV Tower is the second tallest tower in Europe (the first position is for Ostankino Tower, Moscow) with a height of 368 meters. This is close to Alexander Platz. It was the center of East Berlin, built in 1969 by the GDR (German Democratic Republic) in order to intercept the communications of West Berlin. Within it, before, were located the offices of the Stasi (the secret police of the GDR). Currently there is a bar with a 360 º to 203 meters, above the restaurant at 207 meters uns. My recommendation is to go on a sunny day with clear skies as well you will see up to 40 km, another suggestion is to go to breakfast at the restaurant, but if you want something to eat is scarce and expensive, which rotates 360 degrees in half an hour. A highly recommended place to start your day there but that if you have to go early because endless queues are formed.

The fernsehturm is a television tower...

The Fernsehturm is a television tower in Berlin. It is near Alexanderplatz, in what was East Berlin. It is an emblem of the city and is visible from many parts of the city. The tower is 368 meters high, and is the fourth tallest monument in Europe. Upstairs is a platform to which you can upload, input costs 10 euros is a bit expensive knowing that the observatory of parliament not paid anything but obviously have the best view over Berlin. Amid the ball up there is a revolving restaurant. This makes one complete revolution every 30 minutes but only go up to 200 meters high, with a super fast elevator that takes you in under a minute. They say you can see up to 40 miles away. Berlin is fairly flat and monuments are distinguished fine if your bearings with the river and the large Tiergarten park. Now the tower is covered in love letters.

Symbol of irony

The TV Tower, symbol of the eastern part of Berlin, is one of the most exciting attractions in town. It was built between 1965 and 1969 by the GDR - German Democratic Republic (as it was called Eastern Germany), and is easily visible around the center and some districts of Berlin. The tower was built to be the symbol of communism, and ironically, when the sun shines on the round dome is formed a cross. The communist movement, for being atheist, became very angry with the phenomenon and the architect was banned and can not sign any more after that project in the city. In the years that followed, the communist government tried to cover the dome with special paints and chemicals, but the cross is still there, intact on sunny days.

Highest berlin is fernsehturm, 368 me...

Highest Berlin is Fernsehturm, 368 meters dominates the famous Alexanderplatz. Designed in the Soviet era East Berlin originally as broadcast station radio wave radio and television tower always fill up role now. However, a panoramic restaurant has since emerged in the huge ball that is at the top (ball has also been repainted in football during the World Cup 2006). The rise (in elevator!) For views of Berlin is well worth the trip.

The fernsehturm besides being the tv ...

The Fernsehturm besides being the TV Tower is one of the best sights of Berlin. In full Alexanderplatz, the tower is seen almost the entire city. At the top of 365 meters and an observation deck at 203 meters, it is possible to see everything the eye can see. The tower was built by the government of East Germany (GDR) between 1965 and 1969 to symbolize the triumph of its capital, East Berlin.

Pope's revenge

This tower was built in East Berlin, Soviet sphere of influence. Much of the reason for its construction, went to West Berlin, and who were monitored. However, since the metallic coating area lookout tower, at certain times, is a reflection of the sunlight, which resembles a large illuminated cross. Berliners, so they called it "The finger of God", although the most popular name was "Pope's Revenge"

Enjoy life: berlin

Describe in one word Berlin is very difficult, but the most appropriate would be "disturbing". I breathed art and creativity like never before. In no other city I have felt so much inspiration to take pictures, every street is different and full of unique places to photograph. Berlin is a lively, cosmopolitan and fashion with an alternative twist. The people are polite and patient, a society that has forgotten its history. It is a city in constant renewal that has lived very troubled times in the last 100 years, the city and its inhabitants have adapted to each time at every moment.

Enjoy life: berlin

He respirado arte y creatividad como nunca antes.
