A unique natural tour

Excellent

The Everglades is one of the largest wetland areas in the world, and in this particular Natural Park you can see alligators, crocodiles (saltwater), flamingos, and a large number of insects and birds in their natural habitat. The fact that you can only go by airboat or on one of the few roads makes it a must-see wild place in South Florida. This is alligator territory

Practically all of South Florida is a giant wetlands. A lot of it isn't much more than alligators and Indian Reservations, but you also have the Everglades, one of the most beautiful, unusual, and interesting parks in the USA.

At first glace, it's just a massive flooded plain with a few scattered islands of grass and weds. As you dig deeper, though, you'll discover a wealth of plant, animal, and amphibian life that's unsurpassed in the American south. This is alligator territory and your chances of seeing one is almost 100%.

The only realistic way to explore the Everglades is via airboat.

Everglade Excursions

A trip to the Everglades lasts a couple of hours. You can do it in a small train or rent a bike. That's how we did it and it was great. You can go at your own pace and stop whenever you want to take pictures of the crocodiles and other wildlife. It's better to go there and back the same way. The right side is more beautiful, if you do the full turn, it's uglier. You have to bring water and some snacks. It's definitely worth it!
