Fleisher Art Memorial, originally known...
Fleisher Art Memorial, originally known as the Club of Graphic Design, was founded by Samuel S. Fleisher in 1898 in the Jewish Union building. Mr. Fleisher supported the program throughout his life. After he died in 1944, he left his residual legacy of trust to support operations and maintenance of the program under the administration of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
