Frontera Corrozal

Corrozal Border is a border town between Mexico and Guatemala, at the height of the Lacandon Jungle. I arrived at night, and the next day was supposed to cross the river to reach the Guatemalan border. First thing is that the boats come with a 20 person minimum, and no one in town wanted to cross! The price to rent the entire boat only for me was ridiculous, so I had to wait until the afternoon, when, thanks to fate a group of 40 Mexican guides arrived who wanted to visit the Mayan ruins of the region to learn more. Then, they agreed to take me, but first we went to visit the nearby ruins of Yaxchilan, a beautiful place along the promenade of the river when you arrive.
