Cala Dorada

Cala Dorada is a beach popular with tourists visiting Conil as it's well-sheltered from the area's usually strong winds. It's known as Playa Dorada ("golden beach") by the locals because of the color of the sand and the surrounding sandstone cliffs which turn golden in the sun. In summer there's a beach bar, but you should visit the Baretos, a nearby restaurant where you can get delicious, freshly-caught fish at great prices.
