Grace Bay

Providenciales is a small island in the Turks & Caicos near the Bahamas, about an hour and a half flight from Miami. Since Providenciales (also called Provo) is so small, you can explore the entire island in a couple of days. Despite its size, it is overflowing with paradisaical beaches. The best way to get around the island is to rend a car. Since many of the roads aren't paved, going by scooter or bike is a little complicated. Providenciales is also home to the beautiful Grace Bay Beach, usually considered to among the most beautiful on Earth. The color of the sea is really amazing...the water

Along this long white beach, you can find the main hotels of Providenciales and the sunset is breathtaking. In February you can go kite and wind surfing as well as snorkeling. The beach is one of the best I have ever been to.

The Turks and Caicos was the perfect place for my daughter's Sweet 16. She had me so busy with activities, I needed a vacation from her vacation...
