The most important stage in Cáceres is behind the curtains in the shining spotlights above the stalls that can be reached through the halls off the large room on San Anton Street, between Canovas and Painters. There are TV series, comedies, dramas and soporific performances presented here. For the classic, I've seen people circling to stop being themselves to become a naked woman screaming. The concerts are intimate with international artists, film festivals, music, and theatre. Everything fits behind the curtain. The light bulbs above the stalls become illuminated, silence, showtime.
